getting a much needed haircut I made my normal utterance
"Why did I wait so long?"
the woman cutting my hair replied
"It's not a matter of life or death."
we both laughed
she continued
"People loo better, they feel, it's just not life or death."
we continued laughing as I thought about the truth of her obervation
