Crows And Friends By Neomia Jan Carrillo-Jones

Five trips to Goodwill, working on a 6th load, I came across I treasure I forgot I had, this wonderful poem by my friend Jan

Crows And Friends

Crows continue to flock
Sometimes in twos and three
Ancient histories later
Crows continue
After adversity

Timeless

Here and not here
Sitting
Reflecting gold back to the sun
Thoughtful
Engaged

Silent

A dark mark
Punctuating the sky
With energy
Nobly enduring myths
Not their own

Magic

Comfortable in their world
A part of the air
That inhabits the air
I breathe

Surviving
