New Hint
Fourth Way Enneagram from Wikipedia, there is another beautiful picture with scale, lost the link for the moment (now park time) - I am pondering how much I said to someone lately that I learn by looking at and matching patterns. Last night a woman on a radio talk show reminded her suggestion we all need to step away from electronics, etc. Go outside, just sit and stare even. Shift from the left brain to the right.
I remember almost passing an algebra test because all my answers were correct, but there was no way to convince or show the teacher I hadn't cheated. All the answers perfect but no explanation as how I knew, no steps to conclusion. Well, for me there were no steps - there was the question - there was the answer - today I am just thinking Hallejuah - it is just a right brain thing - got a D in Algebra by the way first and I believe only one ever in my life, hmm maybe it makes sense me shying away from math.t
Truly interesting to answer words with pictures. To my more right brain way, that is part of what it is - the walking - my chosen healing path, then there is that wild, wanton curious of mine; well then acquisitive side - more park, is there better park, etc. Yep, left brain now to right brain

Lynn, if I am correct, I think all this Do Re Mi musical scale Enneagram stuff goes back to Gurdjieff and earlier times to him. Since then, other Teachers have come along and copied Gurdjieff’s gathered esoteric information and continued to give classes on the Enneagram. However, it's often been presented under other names, one being, A-U-M. These three letters correspond to three areas in the head, three areas in the chest, and three areas in the lower torso... all making up nine locations in our overall AUM body.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in Grade 8, I recall writing an Algebra exam. There are two reasons I recall the occasion. First, I managed to get 75% on the exam, beating out the next highest mark of 73%. Second, I remember "knowing" the answer to the Algebra problems in a somewhat 'odd' way. It was as if it was easy for me to know the first part... then there was the middle part which mystified me... yet, I "knew" the third part, the actual answer; but how to join-up the middle with the other two parts?
To this day, I can still see me at the desk being intrigued with the three sections... knowing the two parts, and not being able to even explain to myself, how I “knew” the final answer; and, truly “knowing” the answers to be correct. My head even had the physical sensation that my brain was "growing" inside; perhaps "stretching" is a better way to put it.
Whichever way it worked out, I must have been able to explain myself (enough) on paper in some reasonable way, to get the mark I did. Yes, left brain-right brain stuff is indeed a Mystery at times!
Hugs…
wow how amazing we share this story, just amazing isn't it, and you stayed with numbers
ReplyDeletethere is so much acknowledgement you give, thank you, just amazing, oh and way cool,
(I am infecting my office with way cool - one woman joined me it spread - she wanted to know should we, also, revert to beads and tye-dyed shirts).
Hey! I know! How about you get "Way Cool" printed on T-shirts... get assorted colours... maybe even Tye-dyed ones, too... then wear the "Way Cool" T-shirts and beads on Fridays at work!!! Now, ain't that a FUN, Way Cool idea! Groovy man! (Let the infecting continue!!!) LOL Hugs...
ReplyDeleteHey not a bad idea, might take 16 weeks to choose the colors and fonts, not either in Caution mode, not, not, well I will think about it some more, now you are probably chuckling, sigh
ReplyDeleteSo what color on what color, hmmm, but I would need a symbol, it would have to have a symbol, hmmm, in my 1200 plus works in progress, let me see do I have s symbol, yes but what kind . . . let you know . . . don't hold your breath
