Circling

Circling around the intended park, 4 blocks, 6 blocks, mind you the radio is playing "you can't always get want you want, but you get what you need", yah, yah, I want this one, 8 blocks out, 10 blocks. . . this may not be happening. . .

I give - new course of action, right downtown, like this will be easier. Hah! This not the alternate guidance I was wanting, dang, nowhere to pull over and look at the map for another option. Well, I do have a back up park near work I haven't visited. Sigh.

One block from the busy, busy, busy area, I see a parking lot, decent price for now. I can live with $6. One spot left in the park, actual charge in spite of the sign in front of me is $3. Well, maybe this is where I am supposed to be. LOL. If I had just turned the other corner, there was actual one parking spot right at the curb in front of the park. Were you waiting for me, Chief Seattle. Just a small park with his statute, and pool, small fountain (pictures sometime posted).Tilikum Place.

Oh, fun the monorail just went over my head, way cool.

Feeling victorious on this beautiful, sunny day. Windows open, blasting Brooks & Dunn's Boot Scootin' Boogie on the radio as a pull into work. Oh, life is amazing. I do believe I just met the new night supervisor, crossing in front of my path, hope she likes country . . .
And my path lead me here early, walked into hear, "yes, and my mother just passed away. . . followed by a sharing on that. . .

So I haven't reposted my favorite Rilke quote/poem in at least a month so here we go   Circles
I live my life in big circles

that surround all things,

that circle around all that is.

Maybe i will not complete the last circle,

But i will attempt it.

I circle around God

that ancient tower,

and I have been circling

for centuries and millennia,

And i do still not know: am i a falcon,

a storm, or the Great Song.

- Rainer Maria Rilke

  1. Well yes, I took the bait (as you knew I would!) I YouTubed "Brooks & Dunn's Boot Scootin' Boogie"... so go ahead... turn up the volume... blast away to your heart's content! Hmmm... not bad, not bad at all!

Now it's your turn... remember this bouncy little ditty? Get your dancin' shoes on...

  3. Loretta Lynn, Brenda Lee, wow that was fun, tiny bit of dancing, not a song I had heard. Just started listening to country when every song on the radio brought way too many memories; I had no history with country music, not a single song connected to connected to the past. A fresh, untainted field to play in; like Boot Scootin Boogie cuz I can feel it in my bones
