and when I wasn't busy staring at the beautiful views, was enjoying the metal work on the bottom of the viewing scope, I never even noticed it was a free viewing scope til the 3rd trip there when Jan pointed it out. I had grown up by the beach in California with many "coin" powered viewing scopes.
